I’m a digital product designer with experience at social media and enterprise companies (Twitter, Cloud Foundry, Kumo.ai). Most recently, I worked on Trust and Safety at Grindr where I designed features that help users verify themselves while protecting their privacy.

Verifying Users on Grindr While Protecting Privacy

Half of all users on the dating app Grindr don’t have any photos, and even more don’t have any face photos (73%). To establish who they are, users send photos in direct messages, but these photos can easily be stolen, outdated, or edited. In this project, I designed a solution for building trust between users through verified photos.

Making it easier and more rewarding to share Tweets

As the lead designer, I worked with cross-functional partners to advocate for and build out the Tweet-sharing experience. In doing so, we increased shared Tweets by 350K per day.

Twitter Tourists

Each month, tens of millions of users returned to Twitter. Over a few months, I worked with a data scientist, researcher, and PM to understand who was coming back and why. Based on these early findings, I explored design solutions.

Redesigning Muze as a Chat App

Muze was originally designed for collaging. However, the team observed that users who adopted it for chat used it more frequently. I was brought on to simplify the functionality and interactions of the app while still supporting the expressiveness that made it viral.
